A week out!

Hey Team,

This is a bit of a generic one but it will just ensure we can run to schedule a bit better.

Men: In the morning when I turn up can you please have the main areas of the house/hotel neat and tidy.

You can literally dump everything that is messy into a back room with no light and have anything the groom plans to wear out in one location for my team.

Ladies: If you can ideally make yourselves second last with make-up rather than last in the pecking order.

This will allow us to be a little less rushed in the morning and spend more time with you where needed.

If you could also have your details all out in one particular location that would be amazing (remember your wedding invite if you want this included.

LGBTQI+: As timing differs from wedding to wedding I will be confirming things with a phone call to ensure correct timings.

Emergency Contacts: On your running order (questionnaire) I have included an emergency contact.

Please ensure this is a person that will be with you all morning and is easily contactable.

Weather:

So obviously this is something we will discuss on the day and in the days prior but if you make any amendments due to weather can you please include them in your running order (questionnaire) I have sent through.

A quick tip: If it looks like rain it would be worth grabbing some clear umbrellas, these can be bought through Kmart online or Base warehouse.

Ensure your celebrant/officiant is aware if you have booked video and that we may require them to wear a small lapel microphone and or take a line out of their system if possible.

We have worked with the vast majority of celebrants and this is rarely an issue however it does tend to be more of an issue in religious ceremonies.

Either way, we are very accommodating to working within whatever structure your officiant needs to work in so please keep us involved in any issues that may arise here.

Working with your MC on your wedding day.

I love working with friends wanting to do an amazing job for their friends.

Weddings do however tend to need adjustments as they go through the day and run sheets do tend to need amendment.

We ask that your MC is aware that we need a 5-minute heads up before any formality commences to ensure we can cover these moments as perfectly as possible.

Food at reception

Just a reminder here that for the best coverage on your day, it makes sense for us to eat just as the bridal party is served.

This allows us time to sit down and have our first real meal for the day whilst the guests are also eating and no formalities are running.

In most situations, caterers will try and opt for us to be fed last as this is beneficial for guests to get their correct food preferences but it often tends to cause issues with scheduled run sheet timings.

Just a reminder Will doesn’t eat fish.
